The History of Haad Chao Samran Beach

It is said that King Naresuan had come to Haad Chao Samran beach with Somdej Pra Agar Todsaros and liked the beauty of the beach very much. They couple would stay in the Haad Chao Samran area for several days at a time. Thus the area and the beach was named by the local villagers as ‘Chao Samran – Beach’ and has remained so until this present day.
